This piece is quite dream-like; the landscape is sweeping and very powerful. The flow of emotion is clearly visible and the lone figure gives the piece an ability to entice the observer into imagining themselves in that position thus enhancing the emotion within the artwork. The sun on the horizon supplies a focal point for the piece and attracts the eye which also ensures that the piece will be noticed. The presence of the moon is a second hit of intrigue as it is not immediately obvious but is hidden and provides a serenity to the piece. The colours are blended well and give the effect of being within the soul of the artist. I believe that this piece is one to be remembered and it is truly something amazing.
